Simplicity 5163 Baby Newborn Layette Kimono Pajamas Vintage Sewing Pattern 1960s

Infants' Layette in One Size: V. 1 kimono, V. 2 sacque, V. 3 sleeper, V. 4 pajamas and V.6 undershirt have long raglan type sleeves. V.'s 1 & 2 have high round neckline, center front closing with bows, and ribbon bound edges. V. 3 has high round neckline, center back button closing, cuffs which form a mit, drawstring in lower edge casing, bias tape trim. V. 4 top same as View 3 without cuffs. Pants have footsies with elastic at waistline and ankles. V. 5 top has short kimono type sleeves, round neckline, center front closing, bias binding and feather stitching trim.Pants in V. 5 & 6 are lined or faced with plastic, have side snaps, elastic at waistline and inner leg edges. Double breasted undershirt in V.6 has ribbon or twill ties, bias tape trim. V. 7 bib is bound with bias tape.
