Simplicity 2599 Vintage Sewing Pattern - 1940's Girls two-piece pj's vintage pattern. 

Soft gathers are released from the shoulder yoke of the front-buttoning top. The trousers, pleated at the front waistline, have elastic in back and join to a waistband in front. In Style 1, a self ruffle, edged with lace, outlines the yoke. The lace-trimmed, long sleeves are finished with casing at the lower edge through which elastic is drawn to from a ruffle effect. Style 2 has a Peter Pan collar, short cuffed sleeves and a patch pocket
