Simplicity 2049 Vintage Sewing Pattern - 1940's Boys Button Front Shirt vintage pattern. 

The back is gathered to the shoulder yoke and the front joins the yoke at a forward shoulder seam.  The buttoned front shirt is finished with a convertible collar and patch pockets.  In style 1 and 2, the long sleeves have soft pleats at the lower edge and ae finished with buttoned cuffs.  Style 3 has short sleeves and one pocket.
