Simplicity 1743 Vintage Sewing Pattern - 1940's Ladies One-Piece Evening Gown.

The bodice is made with a flattering sweetheart neckline and the center front seam is gently gathered.  The gathered skirt joins to the bodice at the natural waistline.  A ribbon tie belt circles the waist.  For a bouffant effect, an over skirt of net may be used.
